In 2019, Knox County mayor Glenn Jacobs tasked us with helping to address the opioid crisis.

Renew Clinic Was Our Response

Renew clinic is an Intensive Outpatient Treatment Center which opened its doors in 2021. Their primary goal is to glorify God and support the holistic restoration of individuals afflicted by opioid and drug addiction and substance misuse. They are both Biblically rooted and clinically effective in this effort.

How They Work

Renew Clinic provides a continuum of care by engaging the participant with opportunities for connection and belonging in the faith community. Their services are grounded in clinical techniques informed by neuroscience and addiction science.

Who They Serve

Renew Clinic does not prohibit participation of someone who chooses medically assisted treatment (MAT), and we will partner with a local practitioner if MAT is a chosen course of action. They accept anyone from any background or faith into our program.

You Can Help

Individuals and churches may consider serving Renew Clinic by providing a safe place for children of participants, assisting as a life-skills coach, praying on a team or as an individual for this effort, and contributing financially.
